Adventure Bags for Apalachee High School Students
Help Adapt Our Traditional Adventure Bag
Every contribution, whether in-kind or financial, will directly support the students in coping with this challenging period.
In light of the tragic events at Apalachee High School on September 4, 2024, Adventure Bags, Inc. is deeply committed to providing comfort and support to the students as they prepare to return to school. Our hearts and thoughts are with the entire Apalachee community during this incredibly difficult time.
To address the needs of these students, we are adapting our traditional Adventure Bags. Each bag will now include a drawstring bag filled with comforting and stress-relieving items such as stuffed animals, blankets, stress balls, journals with pens and pencils, activity books, and surprise items like stress balls, fidget spinners, stress stickers, and small flashlights.
To ensure we meet the needs of every student, we are seeking in-kind donations of the following items:
- Journals or composition notebooks
- Stress balls
- Fidget spinners
- Stress stickers
Additionally, monetary donations are crucial for covering the costs of assembling these bags and purchasing any remaining items. Every contribution, whether in-kind or financial, will directly support the students in coping with this challenging period.
We will also be hosting a community packing event to assemble the Adventure Bags and will provide details as soon as they are finalized. We invite you to sign up and join us in this effort.
